DDJ Wins Decanter Bronze Award

Domaine Des Jeanne participated at the Decanter Wine Fair at the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone, London.

It was our first year to attend the Decanter Wine Fair and it was an honour to showcase our wines and we are delighted to announce that we won the Bronze Decanter Award 2018 and 2019 for our Rosé Wine. We are so proud to have won this award for our Rosé, which is made with passion by our Winemaker Alexandre Samour. Lovingly produced from Grenache, Counoise, Ugni Blanc and Mourvèdre grapes – both white and red co-fermented grapes, resulting in a pale pink colour, a rosé petal with purple reflections. The taste is well balanced with pears and citrus and the aroma is fruitful. This wine works well on its own or partnered with fish, spicy foods and lamb and is best enjoyed with friends.

A very sophisticated and well organised event, the Decanter Wine Fair represents 154 wineries from 17 wine-producing countries in the Grand Tasting. We were situated in the Empire Room Stand 5 and met some amazing people who were all very passionate about wine.

We met a lovely couple sourcing wines for their wedding in the Luberon next year; and a Father & Son-Day-Out who have been attending the Wine Fair for 20 years. Stories like this warm our hearts when you see the love people have for wine.

We were delighted to welcome Michael Denton from Decanter to visit our working cave in the Luberon, earlier in the year, where he enjoyed meeting the Domaine Des Jeanne team.
