Valentine's art, wine and lunch

We had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with the super-talented UK Contemporary Artist, Charlotte Posner.

An intimate group of guests were hand-picked to attend our Art, Wine & Lunch in Vandal Restaurant on Thomas St in Dublin.  The venue itself had been carefully chosen as we felt Vandal really captured the vibe of Charlotte who has put her stamp on the streets of London through her highly imaginative graffiti and murals.

Check out our Behind-the-Scenes video of our special day:

Upon arrival, all guests were treated to a glass of our delicious Sparkling Bulle Rose while we set up their easels and paint-brushes.

First to arrive was Kieran Corrigan who lit up the room with his good humour and friendliness. He and his wife Orna are absolutely besotted with the recent birth of their beautiful baby girl, Bonnie… so it was great to hear the stories of how they have been getting on.

Next in was Jeroen Proos and Suzanne Goode of Human+Kind. By Jeanne’s own admission, she is a huge fan of not only their kindness but also their Family Remedy Cream as it has worked wonders for her since her radiation treatment.

Makeup and Beauty Expert Grainne McCoy travelled all the way from Newry to take part. We were really lucky to have her there was she was about to head off to Ethiopia the following day to help build homes for the charity Habitat for Humanity.

Queens of Interiors, Vintage Irish Kat (Katrina Caroll) and A Proud Home (Joanne Mooney) joined the crew with their fabulous sense of humour and all-round happiness.

Lady Captain of Carton House Golf Club, Roisin Lyons also took part and we look forward to working with Roisin on the upcoming social events for Carton House.

The fabulously talented Mark Rogers Beauty popped in later in the afternoon and enjoyed mingling with everyone.

Our tech team, Jennifer Nolan and Colma Lineen from Whizz.ie, worked their magic and filmed the day for our social channels. Niamh Nolan and her adorable baby Ollie stole the show with everyone trying to steal a cuddle from him along the way.

Each guest was given an easel with a print of Charlotte’s infamous pop-doll decorated with Lovehearts (in keeping with this year’s Valentine’s theme). Some Lovehearts were left blank so that they could paint and customise them to their liking. Many remarked how therapeutic it was to actually switch off and take time out from their day to immerse themselves in the world of art and wine… All-in-all, it was a great success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

When their art class was complete, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert from Vandal followed by a few more glasses of our sparkly 🙂

Jeanne finished off the day with a very personal thank you to each guest at the table and explained why each person had been invited to such an intimate gathering.

Charlotte and the whole team in Domaine des Jeanne are grateful to everyone who could join us and we hope to see more of you again soon.
